To enable the addon Order Returns follow the instructions from the guide Installing Addons from the Marketplace.

Once the addon has been installed, proceed to the addon settings page: 541-addon-enabled.png

The addon settings page allows you to configure:

Return Reasons

The page can allow be accessed via the Store Setup -> Return Reasons section of your store Admin area.

The “Return Reasons” page of the Order Returns addon allows a store admin to configure the acceptable conditions for stock returns. Also it is possible to delete unnecessaty reasons, rename them and add new if required. 541-return-reasons.png

Managing the Return Reasons List

The preset return reasons are as follows:

  • Damaged item
  • Wrong description
  • Wrong item

By default, reasons are sorted alphabetically. The sorting on the settings page affects the order the reasons display to customer. You can change the reasons sorting by drag-n-dropping them.

Adding New Return Reasons

To add a new return reason, click New and name the reason in the blank line that opens. Then save your changes. 541-add-new-reason.png

Editing Return Reasons

To edit the reason properties, click inside the name field of the reason in question, enter a new reason name and save your changes. 541-edit-reason.png

Deleting Return Reasons

To delete a reason use the Trash icon opposite it. Don’t forget to click Save changes to confirm the deletion. 541-delete-reason.png

Return Actions

The page can allow be accessed via the Store Setup -> Return Actions section of your store Admin area.

The “Return Actions” page of the Order Returns addon allows a store admin to set a list of possible solutions for the stock return requests from customers. If enabled, customers can select a preferred solution when claiming for return. 541-return-actions.png

Managing the Return Actions List

The preset list of return actions consists of:

  • Send replacement if within warranty
  • Repair and ship back
  • Give me a credit for future purchase

By default, the actions list is sorted alphabetically. The sorting on the settings page affects the order the solutions are offered to customer. You can change the sorting by drag-n-dropping.

To make solutions visible to customers, enable the Allow customer to specify desired action toggle. 541-return-actions-on.png

Adding New Return Actions

To add a new return action, click New and specify the solution in the blank line that opens. Then save your changes. 541-add-new-action.png

Editing Return Actions

To edit the action properties, click inside the name field of the action in question, edit the details and save your changes. 541-edit-action.png
