Getting paid is what a business is meant for.
Understanding the payment process is an important step toward getting paid by your customers. All of X-Cart supported payment methods rely on third-party providers to process your transactions. These providers might charge extra fees, as well as enforce rules about what products you can sell using their service. Hence each merchant should consider these factors as well as the countries where the business is located and where customers live and many other criteria when choosing a payment gateway.
When a choice of a payment processor is made it’s time to proceed to the payment gateway configuration in your X-Cart admin backend.
You can enable different payment methods in X-Cart so that your customers have a choice of payment options at checkout. Below are the most popular payment processors supported by X-Cart:
- Secure Trading Payment Solution
- Amazon Pay (former “Pay with Amazon”)
- iDEAL Payments
- Pilibaba Chinese Checkout
You can get even more payment options for checkout if using X-Payments, a platform by a PCI DSS Level 1 certified service provider that is intended for merchants who need to accept credit card payments online and who require compliance with the PCI DSS standard.
